this little guy was so sweet... and a model subject at just 10 days old. he did however spit up on his daddy and pee on him. mom, grandma, and i thought it was rather funny...dad, not so much. i think he was pretty lucky... he didn't get pooped on!

i can't believe summer is almost over. all of a sudden i feel like i didn't take enough photos of my girls. There should have been more beaches, more picnics, bike riding, sprinklers, and play dates. we did have a great summer and had some charming subjects... hope your summer was great too!

there is a house on a double lot on john m that i would buy if i won the lottery. crazy huh? i could live anywhere and i would still choose clawson. i love clawson. for one, i've made some great friends here. second, it's very rare to go somewhere in clawson and not run into someone you know. and third, i live a block away from our city park... ok a block and a half. one thing i loved today was the farmer's market we had in our city park. i shared a booth for my photography with a friend today who was selling her purses...this girl has skills to pay the bills. please visit polly's website at www.pollyzbag.com.

this is henry, he is my six month old nephew and is about the sweetest thing. his mom and i were worried that we were going to have to postpone his session because he broke his leg and had to wear a full leg cast. well, after wearing a cast for oh, ten days it came off. thank goodness...cause he sure does enjoy his feet.

Farmer's Market

what a beautiful day and what an awesome turnout we had at the clawson farmer's market. my debut went perfect. i met a lot of people, and received a lot of interest in my photography. it was so great seeing my community come together like it did today, and of course, it is always great to see friends. i had a lot of family and friends come out and support me and the community...thank you. one particular friend that i recently connected with again after many years is heather. we have shared some great childhood memories together and soon i will get the pleasure of photographing her newborn baby. can't wait for her arrival. thank you for coming out and seeing me, i wish we could have had more time catching up.

OMG...tomorrow is almost here. i am so excited and a little sick to my stomach. first i really need to thank some people... tierney, if you hadn't offered me this opportunity none of this would be happening...i would still be dreaming about it while i sat at home twiddling my thumbs. thank you. all my facebook friends that have commented on my pictures have really given me the extra nudge that i could really do this...i should have joined facebook sooner. heather, jeff, and brandy for posting the link about the farmer's market for their friends to know about on fb. jeff, what can i say...thanks for dealing with the 'troy girl.' my hubby eric, sorry for all the nights i spent away from you on the computer, we'll have some time soon.

really, to all my friends and family that have given me the encouragement and support to take this journey...thank you so very much. it means more to me than you will ever know. enough with the sentimental 'stuff.' bring on tomorrow!!!

just two days to go until the birth of lynnie bug photography. my website is coming together, my email is all set up, my sign for the table is done and perfect. my business cards look amazing, i have also put together a portfolio for my table, and i have a prime location at the farmer's market. things are falling into place and going rather smoothly...knock on wood.

as a kick off for lynnie bug photography i will have a sign up sheet at the farmer's market for a mini session in the park. what is a mini session? a mini session is a discounted 20-30 minute session at the clawson park that will include at least 12-15 proofs. datea and times will be announced soon.

i have felt so many emotions these past few weeks...excited, scared, nervous, overwhelmed....the list goes on. in less than one week i will officially "launch" lynnie bug photography at the clawson farmer's market. a good friend who has been organizing the development of the farmers market offered me a booth. this was the opportunity i had been waiting for... i had been pondering this idea for some time but never thought about how i would begin this process.

without the help of a dear friend, jeff toro, most of this wouldn't have been possible. he has been the heart of this process from developing my website to designing business cards and a sign...i owe a big thanks to uncle dude!!! you can check out his work at http://www.jtpro.com/.

the idea of lynnie bug photography wouldn't have been possible without the encouraging words from my husband eric. he has given me the confidence and strength to make this dream become a reality. thank you for your unending support, words of encouragement, and understanding

with six days to go until lynnie bug photography's birth, all 3 girls school starting, the pta, and my job, i won't be sleeping much. hopefully the nervous, anxious knots in my stomach will subside by next week.
